EXPOSING THE ABUSER'S PLAYBOOK:

THE WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY,

& HOW OF DOMESTIC ABUSE

June 30, 2026

💻 VIRTUAL TRAINING

This training challenges common misconceptions about domestic abuse and reveals the deeper dynamics behind it. Rather than isolated incidents, abuse is explored as a deliberate pattern of power and control, guided by the questions of who, what, when, where, why, and how.

Participants will gain critical insight into identifying primary aggressors, recognizing abuse beyond physical violence (including emotional, psychological, economic, and coercive control) and understanding how these behaviors evolve and escalate over time. The training also confronts widely held myths about the causes of abuse, highlighting the roles of choice, entitlement, and learned behavior, while offering a compelling framework for how abuse is carried out and concealed.

With a strong focus on real-world impact, this training emphasizes the importance of coordinated community responses and effective intervention strategies. Ideal for advocates, professionals, and anyone committed to creating safer communities, this training provides the knowledge and tools needed to better understand, respond to, and prevent domestic abuse.
